I get asked this question a lot. Someone is about to hire a web design agency in Dubai, they search for a list of the best ones, and they find either a paid directory or a post that recommends whoever paid to be included. Neither is useful.

So I decided to write the comparison I would want to read: specific, honest, and clear about who each agency actually suits. I run Markamo, a Dubai digital marketing agency that builds websites. I have a conflict of interest, which is exactly why I am telling you that upfront. I included us at number four. If another agency is a better fit for your situation, you should hire them.

Here is how I put this list together. I looked at agencies that have a real track record in Dubai web design, checked their live work, and described what each one genuinely does well. I do not have access to their revenue figures or client contracts. Where I say pricing is on request, that means they do not publish prices, which is the case for almost every agency on this list. That is worth knowing before you pick up the phone.

How to read this list

Each entry covers what the agency does well, who it suits, and what you should know before reaching out. At the end I explain how to compare quotes properly, because a number without context tells you almost nothing.

1. Global Media Insight (GMI)

GMI has been operating in Dubai since 2001, which makes them one of the oldest digital agencies in the UAE. They run a large team covering web design, development, digital marketing, SEO, and paid advertising. Their portfolio spans retail, healthcare, government, and real estate, with projects for both local and multinational clients.

Genuine strength: Depth of experience and a large team that can handle complex, multi-department projects with strict timelines.

Who it suits: Medium to large businesses that need a full-service agency to manage multiple digital channels under one roof and have the budget to support that scale.

Pricing: On request. No published rates.

2. Digital Gravity

Digital Gravity is a web design studio based in Dubai known for modern, visually polished builds. They focus specifically on design and development rather than trying to be a full-service marketing agency. Their work tends to be clean, fast-loading, and well-structured.

Genuine strength: Focused expertise in web design and development, with a portfolio that shows strong visual execution and attention to detail.

Who it suits: Businesses that want a well-built, attractive website and are happy to manage their own marketing or use separate specialists for SEO and ads.

Pricing: On request. No published rates.

3. Bird Marketing

Bird Marketing has offices in the UK and Dubai and has picked up a number of industry awards for web design and digital performance. They combine web design with SEO and paid search, which means the sites they build are usually set up to perform in search from the start rather than being handed over as a design file.

Genuine strength: The combination of design quality and SEO thinking in the build phase. If you want a site that looks good and ranks, they are worth a conversation.

Who it suits: Businesses that want to grow through organic search and need a site built with that goal in mind from day one. Particularly suited to service businesses targeting competitive keywords.

Pricing: On request. No published rates.

4. Markamo

This is us. I am writing this section in the same voice as the rest of the post because I think you deserve a straight description, not a sales pitch.

We build websites for Dubai SMEs who want a site that loads fast, ranks in Google, and converts visitors into enquiries. We do not build brochure sites for the sake of having something online. Every site we build is structured around the searches your customers actually make and designed to get them to take the next step.

We are a small, founder-led team, which means you deal directly with the people doing the work. We reply within one business day. We are transparent about our prices because we believe that is how a good agency relationship starts.

Our web design pricing is a fixed one-time quote you approve before any work begins: a landing page from AED 2,500, a business website from AED 4,000, and an online store from AED 7,000. Our complete guide to web design in Dubai explains what each tier includes. You own the site, the code, and every account connected to it, and you stay free to move to another agency or host it yourself whenever you want. We also integrate your site with your Google Ads and SEO from the start, because a site that sits separate from your marketing is a wasted asset.

Genuine strength: Sites built for conversion and search performance, not just appearance. Flat transparent pricing. Full client ownership. Fast response times.

Who it suits: Dubai SMEs, clinics, professional service firms, and growing e-commerce businesses that want a conversion-focused site with clear pricing and no agency lock-in.

Pricing: Published on our pricing page. One-time project fees from AED 2,500.

5. Element8

Element8 is a Dubai agency with a long track record across web design, development, and digital marketing. They have worked with clients across retail, hospitality, education, and professional services. Their team handles both the design and technical build, and they have experience with Arabic and bilingual site requirements.

Genuine strength: Established process, broad sector experience, and the ability to handle Arabic and English bilingual projects properly.

Who it suits: Businesses that need a bilingual site or have specific Arabic language requirements and want an agency that has done it many times before.

Pricing: On request. No published rates.

6. redBerries

redBerries positions itself as an SME-friendly digital agency in Dubai, with services covering web design, social media, and digital marketing. Their approach tends to be more accessible and pragmatic than the larger full-service agencies, which can make them a reasonable option for smaller businesses that do not need an enterprise-scale operation.

Genuine strength: Approachable for smaller budgets and businesses that do not need a large agency structure.

Who it suits: Small businesses and startups in Dubai looking for a practical web design and digital presence at a more accessible price point.

Pricing: On request. No published rates.

7. Traffic Digital

Traffic Digital is a creative and digital agency operating in Dubai with a focus on brand, web, and digital campaigns. They handle web design as part of a broader creative offering rather than as a standalone service. Their work tends to be brand-led, meaning the visual identity drives the site design.

Genuine strength: Strong brand thinking that carries through into the web design, useful when a site is part of a broader brand refresh or launch.

Who it suits: Businesses undergoing a rebrand or launching a new brand in Dubai that want their website built as part of a unified creative process.

Pricing: On request. No published rates.

8. NEXA

NEXA is a full-service agency with an office in Dubai and international presence. They combine web design and development with digital strategy, inbound marketing, and CRM integration. They are a HubSpot partner, which is relevant if your business uses HubSpot or is considering it.

Genuine strength: Strategic depth and experience integrating websites with CRM and marketing automation tools, particularly HubSpot.

Who it suits: Mid-sized businesses and B2B companies that want their website tightly connected to a CRM and automated marketing workflow.

Pricing: On request. No published rates.

9. Be Unique Group

Be Unique Group is a Dubai digital agency that covers web design, app development, and digital marketing for small and mid-sized businesses. They describe their approach as client-centric and have worked across a range of sectors. Their team handles both design and technical development in-house.

Genuine strength: A broad service offering that lets smaller businesses handle multiple digital needs through one point of contact.

Who it suits: Growing SMEs in Dubai that want a single agency to handle web design alongside app development and ongoing digital marketing.

Pricing: On request. No published rates.

10. Clicktap Digital

Clicktap Digital is a Dubai agency offering web design and digital marketing services. They work across multiple sectors and handle both the design and build of websites alongside paid advertising and social media management. Their work tends to be practical and commercially oriented.

Genuine strength: A commercial focus that keeps the website connected to the marketing and lead generation activities running alongside it.

Who it suits: SMEs in Dubai that want web design and paid digital marketing managed by the same team.

Pricing: On request. No published rates.

How to actually compare these agencies

Once you have two or three proposals in front of you, the comparison gets confusing fast. A few things that cut through the noise.

Test their live work on your phone. Every agency will show you their best projects. Load three of them on your phone and check how fast they open. Check whether text is readable without pinching to zoom. Check whether the contact form works. A slow or broken portfolio site is a signal, not an accident.

Ask who owns the accounts. Domain registration, hosting, Google Analytics, Google Search Console. Ask who these are registered to today and what happens to them when your contract ends. Some agencies register everything in their own name, which gives you less control than you might expect.

Ask about the revision process. How many rounds are included? What counts as a revision versus a scope change? Vague answers here lead to disputes later.

Ask how they handle speed and SEO. A site that scores poorly on Google's Core Web Vitals loads slowly and ranks lower. Ask what score their typical sites achieve. If they do not know what Core Web Vitals are, that is your answer.

Compare scope before comparing price. An AED 10,000 quote that includes copywriting, SEO setup, WhatsApp integration, and post-launch support is a different thing from an AED 10,000 quote that covers design only. Get itemised breakdowns from each agency before drawing any conclusions from the numbers.

Check the contract term. Some agencies charge a one-off project fee. Others charge monthly retainers with minimum contract lengths. Neither model is inherently better, but you should understand what you are signing before you sign it.

Almost none of the agencies on this list publish their prices. That means the first call is partly about getting a number. It also means you are comparing agencies that made a conscious decision not to show you pricing until they have qualified you first. There is nothing wrong with that approach, but it is worth knowing that is how the process works so you are not surprised.

We publish ours because I think pricing transparency is how a good client relationship starts. If you want to know what we would build for your business and what it costs, you can read that before you ever pick up the phone.

Who should you hire?

The honest answer is: it depends on your situation.

If you are a large organisation that needs a full-service agency with a big team and a long track record, GMI or NEXA are the right conversations to start.

If you want a beautifully designed site and are happy to run your marketing separately, Digital Gravity or Bird Marketing are worth looking at.

If you are a Dubai SME looking for a site built to generate leads, rank in Google, and connect properly with your ads, and you want transparent pricing with no lock-in, talk to us at Markamo.

The best web design company for you is the one that builds the right kind of site for what your business actually needs, not the one with the most awards on its homepage.
