I run Markamo. We manage paid ads and social media for SMEs across Dubai. Every month, a business owner contacts us because they are looking for a social media agency, and the question is usually the same: who is actually good, and how do I tell them apart before I sign anything?

This list is the answer I give them. Ten real agencies, honest notes on what each one does well and who they suit best, and one comparison table at the end so you can see the key differences at a glance.

I am putting Markamo at number four. I will be honest about where we fit and where we do not.

Before the list, a few things worth knowing about the Dubai social media agency market in 2026.

UAE social media penetration sits at 99 percent of the population. That is not a typo. Almost every adult in the country is on at least one platform, and Instagram specifically is where a huge share of purchase decisions happen across retail, healthcare, hospitality, and property.

Social CPCs on Meta in the UAE range from AED 3 to AED 184 depending on your industry and how competitive your audience targeting is. Most service businesses pay somewhere in the AED 8 to AED 40 range per click. That range matters because it tells you roughly what a results-focused campaign actually costs to run.

Most SMEs in Dubai spend between AED 3,000 and AED 15,000 per month on agency fees for social media. That window covers a wide range of quality. The list below should help you figure out where to sit in it.

1. NEXA

NEXA has been in Dubai for over a decade and is one of the more complete digital agencies on the list. Their social media work sits inside a wider full-service offering that includes inbound marketing, HubSpot CRM, and website work.

Their strength is strategy. If you are a mid-sized business that wants social media connected to your CRM, your email flows, and your lead tracking, NEXA has the infrastructure to support that kind of integration. They are a HubSpot Diamond Partner, which signals real investment in the CRM side.

For businesses that just want good Instagram content and some paid ads, NEXA is probably more agency than you need and the retainer will reflect that. Their model is built around multi-channel engagements with businesses that have the budget and the internal team to act on a proper strategy.

Best for: Mid-to-large businesses wanting social connected to CRM and inbound.

Pricing: Pricing on request. Expect mid-to-high retainers given the scope.

2. Global Media Insight (GMI)

GMI was founded in 2001, which makes them one of the oldest digital agencies in the UAE. That kind of tenure matters in a market where agencies open and close regularly. They cover social media as part of a full digital service that includes SEO, paid search, content, and website work.

They have worked with large regional brands and government-adjacent clients over the years, and their case study library reflects that. The team is sizable, which means dedicated account managers and formal reporting.

The flip side is the same issue you find with any large agency: if you are a small business, you are likely a low-priority account. You will probably not have a senior strategist sitting on your Instagram strategy every week.

Best for: Established mid-to-large businesses wanting a single agency for all digital channels.

Pricing: Pricing on request.

3. Traffic Digital

Traffic Digital focuses on creative-led social media and has built a reputation in Dubai for content quality, particularly in the lifestyle, food, and property sectors. Their work tends to be visually polished, which counts a lot in an Instagram-heavy market like the UAE.

What sets them apart from a pure performance agency is that creative output is central to their pitch, not just an afterthought. If your brand relies heavily on the look and feel of content, and you are in a sector where aesthetics drive purchase decisions, they are worth talking to.

They do run paid social campaigns but their positioning leans toward content-first. If you need heavy performance optimisation and cost-per-lead reporting as the main focus, check carefully that their paid team matches the strength of their creative team before committing.

Best for: Lifestyle, hospitality, and property brands where creative quality is a competitive advantage.

Pricing: Pricing on request.

4. Markamo

This is us. I want to be straight about what we do and who we suit.

Markamo is a social media and paid ads agency built specifically for small and medium businesses in Dubai. Organic social (content, posting, community management) starts from AED 3,000 per month, and paid social ad management is a separate flat-fee plan from AED 2,950 per month. No percentage of ad spend on top. No lock-in contract.

A few things that matter to SMEs that we built into how we work. You own your accounts from day one, your Business Manager, your ad accounts, your page. We get manager access. If you ever leave, everything stays with you. Leads route directly to your WhatsApp so you get enquiries in the place you already run your business.

The founder, Masoud, is directly involved in account strategy. You are not handed to a junior account executive six months in.

What we are not: we are not the right choice if you need a full creative production house with a videography team, a large-scale regional campaign across six markets, or a branded content program with influencer seeding. Those are legitimate needs that larger agencies handle better.

If you are an SME that wants social media to produce actual leads, not just follower counts and impressions, we are worth a conversation. See also our pricing page for what is included at each level.

Best for: Dubai SMEs wanting organic and paid social run by one flat-fee team, with direct WhatsApp lead routing.

Pricing: Organic social from AED 3,000 per month, paid social from AED 2,950 per month. No percentage of spend. No lock-in.

5. redBerries

redBerries is one of the few Dubai agencies that puts Arabic social media content front and centre rather than treating it as a translation add-on. If you are targeting Arabic-speaking audiences in the UAE or wider GCC, that distinction matters because literal translations of English social copy consistently underperform content written natively.

They work with a lot of SMEs, and their model is positioned to be accessible at that end of the market. Arabic content, bilingual campaign management, and culturally appropriate creative are their clearest strengths.

If your audience is primarily English-speaking expats, they are still capable but their differentiation is less relevant. For businesses where Arabic is a meaningful part of your customer base, they are worth a serious look.

Best for: SMEs targeting Arabic-speaking UAE and GCC audiences.

Pricing: SME-accessible. Pricing on request.

6. Prism Digital

Prism Digital has been operating since 2006 and covers social media as part of a broader digital offering including SEO and web development. Their longevity in the market is a reasonable signal of stability.

They work with businesses across retail, real estate, education, and hospitality. The combination of social media and SEO under one roof is useful if you want search and social working together rather than managed by two separate vendors who do not talk to each other.

Their team size sits in the mid-range, which typically means better access than a large agency without being as lean as a specialist shop.

Best for: Businesses wanting social media and SEO managed together.

Pricing: Pricing on request.

7. Be Unique Group

Be Unique Group is a full-service agency with offices in Dubai and wider UAE coverage. They handle social media strategy and content alongside branding, web development, and video production.

Their position in the market is as a one-stop agency for businesses that want to centralise all marketing work with a single vendor. That consolidation has real value for businesses with limited internal bandwidth to coordinate multiple suppliers.

The trade-off with full-service agencies is usually specialisation. An agency that does everything rarely has the deepest expertise in any single area. If paid social performance optimisation is your top priority, a more focused agency may serve you better.

Best for: Businesses wanting all marketing channels managed from one place.

Pricing: Pricing on request.

8. Digital Gravity

Digital Gravity covers social media as part of a digital marketing offering that also includes web design, app development, and SEO. They have worked with brands across the UAE and have a notable focus on technology and B2B sectors alongside their consumer work.

Their social media work is positioned within the broader growth marketing framing, linking content and paid social back to website performance and lead generation. That systems-level thinking can be useful if your social media is one piece of a wider digital infrastructure you are building.

They are not primarily a social-first agency, so if deep specialisation in social media strategy is what you are after, check their case studies carefully to see how much of their portfolio is social versus other services.

Best for: Tech companies and B2B brands wanting social connected to wider digital systems.

Pricing: Pricing on request.

9. Meta Social

Meta Social is a performance-focused paid social agency. The distinction is worth being explicit about: their primary expertise is paid social advertising on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram), not organic content creation. If you want someone who thinks hard about ad creative, audience targeting, retargeting funnels, and cost per lead, they are worth talking to.

For businesses where organic social media content, community management, and brand tone of voice matter as much as ad performance, Meta Social may not cover everything you need under one roof. You would potentially need a separate content partner alongside them.

If you already have organic handled in-house or through a content freelancer, and you need a proper paid social specialist, they are one of the more focused options on this list.

Best for: Businesses with organic sorted who want a dedicated paid social specialist.

Pricing: Pricing on request.

10. Element8

Element8 has been in the Dubai market for a significant period and covers social media as part of a full digital offering that includes website design, ecommerce, and branding. They serve a range of industries and their work is visible across multiple sectors.

They sit in the mid-tier of the market in terms of scope and team size, and they handle both content-focused social work and paid campaigns. For businesses that need social media alongside website or branding work, the combination can be efficient.

Best for: Businesses wanting social media alongside website and branding work.

Pricing: Pricing on request.

How to choose

The list above covers a genuine range of agency types. Here is how to narrow it down.

If you are an SME with a monthly budget under AED 20,000 all-in, prioritise agencies that will treat your account as important rather than as a small line item. Look for flat-fee models or clearly disclosed pricing. Ask who will actually manage your account week to week.

If Arabic-language content matters to your audience, that should be a primary filter, not a nice-to-have. Ask to see real examples of Arabic social content before you sign.

If paid social performance is your primary goal, ask every agency you talk to the same question: what was the average cost per lead for a business similar to mine in the last six months? If they cannot answer that, or if they answer it in impressions and reach figures rather than leads, that tells you something.

If you want everything under one roof, a full-service agency reduces coordination overhead. Just be clear about whether the social media team within that agency is strong, or whether social is a secondary service alongside their main offering.

Always confirm account ownership upfront. Your Business Manager, your Instagram page, your ad account, your payment method. Ask before the first meeting, not after you have signed.

If you want to talk through whether Markamo is the right fit for your business, you can reach out directly. There is no sales pitch. We will tell you honestly whether we make sense for what you are trying to do, or point you toward one of the agencies above if they are a better match.
