A beauty salon in Business Bay was getting most bookings by word of mouth. Meta Ads built a consistent flow of new clients in 60 days.
Start a projectA beauty salon in Business Bay had a loyal client base but relied entirely on word of mouth for new customers. The owner had tried running Meta Ads herself and spent AED 4,000 with almost no bookings to show for it. Rebuilt the targeting and creative from scratch.
The salon's previous Meta campaigns used broad Dubai targeting and stock photo images. The creative looked like every other salon ad in the feed. There was no offer, no urgency, and no clear reason to book now rather than later. The booking link went to the homepage, which had no online booking system, just a phone number. Most people who clicked left without contacting anyone.
Switched to a radius-targeting strategy centred on Business Bay, DIFC, and Downtown, where the salon's existing clients lived and worked. Created short video ads shot on a phone in the salon showing real treatments and before/after results. Each ad had one specific offer tied to one specific treatment. Added a direct WhatsApp link as the call to action so people could book without needing to call. Built a simple booking confirmation flow via WhatsApp to confirm appointments automatically.
Monthly bookings grew 85 percent in 60 days. Cost per booking settled at AED 38, well within the margin for a first-visit client who typically returns three to four times per year. The owner moved from running her own ads to spending her time on clients. The WhatsApp booking flow reduced no-shows by 40 percent compared to phone bookings.
I spent more money trying to do it myself and got almost nothing. Within two months of handing it over, the calendar was full.
