I run Markamo. We do paid advertising and marketing for SMEs across Dubai, and we produce video for a lot of our clients because their ads need it. Over the past few years, I've referred clients to other video companies, collaborated with studios on shoots, and seen what different types of production actually look like when the bill arrives.

This is the guide I would have wanted when I was first trying to make sense of Dubai's video production market.

I'll cover what different types of companies do, what video actually costs here, where Markamo fits, and how to choose. I'm including myself at position four. I'll be straight about who we suit and who we don't.

What video production costs in Dubai (real numbers)

Before you look at any company, you need a rough sense of what you're buying.

Dubai has a wide spread. A one-person videographer with a mirrorless camera and a laptop charges differently from a full-crew production house with a DIT, colorist, and original score. Both can call themselves a "video production company."

Here's how pricing generally breaks down by video type:

Social clips and reels (30 to 90 seconds, one shoot day, delivered for Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube Shorts): AED 3,000 to AED 8,000. This covers a small crew, half or full shoot day, basic editing, and colour grade.

Corporate films and brand videos (2 to 5 minutes, multiple locations or shoot days, voiceover, motion graphics): AED 15,000 to AED 60,000. The range is wide because some shoots need actors, talent releases, licensed music, and professional catering on set. Others are simpler talking-head productions with b-roll.

Product and e-commerce video (lifestyle shoots, 360 product walkthroughs, ad-ready cuts): AED 5,000 to AED 25,000 depending on number of SKUs and whether the brief needs a location or a studio backdrop.

Television commercials and property films: Starting at AED 80,000 and going considerably higher. Broadcast specs, professional cast, DOP-level lighting, full post-production with grade and audio mix.

These are not quotes. They're honest ranges based on what I see in this market. Any company worth working with will give you a proper scope-based estimate, not a one-size price list.

The 10 best video production companies in Dubai for 2026

1. Global Media Insight (GMI)

GMI is one of Dubai's larger full-service digital agencies and has been operating here since the early 2000s. They cover SEO, web, social, and paid media alongside video, which means they can plan a video campaign end to end from brief to live ad. Their production team handles corporate films, explainer videos, and social content. Because they're a large agency, their process tends to be more structured and their pricing reflects that. They suit mid-size to enterprise clients who want a single agency relationship across multiple channels.

Best for: Corporate and enterprise clients, multi-channel campaigns where video is one component. Cost tier: Mid to high.

2. NEXA

NEXA is a Dubai-based growth agency with offices across the region. They are best known for inbound marketing, HubSpot implementation, and lead generation, but they also produce video content as part of larger campaign packages. Their video work is typically tied to a broader content or demand-gen strategy, which means they're better at integrating video into a funnel than at producing standalone prestige films. A good fit if you're already working with them on marketing and want video built into the same plan.

Best for: B2B companies running inbound or content marketing, existing NEXA clients. Cost tier: Mid.

3. Traffic Digital

Traffic Digital is a regional full-service agency with a strong track record in brand and campaign work. They've worked across retail, automotive, and lifestyle sectors in the GCC and produce video as part of broader integrated campaigns. Their production values are high. They're not primarily a video studio, they're an agency that makes video well when it's part of a campaign brief. Expect agency overheads in the pricing and a more involved account management process.

Best for: Regional brands, integrated campaign briefs, clients who want one agency across brand and media. Cost tier: Mid to high.

4. Markamo

That's us. I'll be honest about what we do and where we fall short.

Markamo produces video specifically for businesses that need it to perform in paid advertising and on social. That means we think about the ad brief before the camera goes on a tripod. We write scripts around the way Meta and Google serve video. We produce cuts at multiple aspect ratios and lengths because 9:16 and 16:9 perform differently, and a 15-second cut needs different pacing than a 45-second one.

We charge a flat rate. You see the price before you book. No percentage of your media spend, no surprises in post. You own all footage on delivery, raw files included.

What we are not: we're not a prestige studio. We don't shoot TV commercials, we don't have a full film crew for feature-length brand documentaries, and we don't do property films for luxury real estate developers. If that's what you need, someone else on this list will serve you better.

Who we suit: SMEs in Dubai spending real money on paid ads who want video that ties directly to their marketing goals. Read more about how we approach video production for advertising.

See what we charge.

Best for: SMEs, direct-response ad creative, social video with a clear brief. Cost tier: Transparent flat fee. Social clips from AED 3,500. Corporate from AED 12,000.

5. Digital Gravity

Digital Gravity is a web design and digital marketing agency that also produces video and animation content. They're particularly strong on motion graphics and explainer-style video, which makes them a good choice if you need animated walkthroughs of a product, SaaS feature demos, or motion-branded social content. Their video work is most at home when it integrates with a website or digital campaign rather than as standalone film production.

Best for: Tech companies, SaaS, e-commerce businesses needing product demos or animated explainers. Cost tier: Mid.

6. Prism

Prism is a Dubai-based creative agency with video production among their services. They work across branding, digital campaigns, and events, and their video offering tends to be strongest when it's part of a broader brand or event brief. Event recap films, company culture videos, and branded content for social are where they're most active. Good for businesses that are also working on brand identity or need video to support a launch or event.

Best for: Brand campaigns, events, company culture films. Cost tier: Mid to high.

7. redBerries

redBerries is a digital marketing agency with a particular focus on social media management and content creation. Their video work tends to be content-led: short-form clips, Instagram reels, behind-the-scenes, and creator-style content built for organic social performance. If you're looking for polished TVC-quality work, they're probably not the right fit. If you need a steady stream of social-ready video content that looks consistent with your brand and doesn't take months to plan, they're worth talking to.

Best for: Brands with active social media accounts, retail and consumer businesses, high-volume social content. Cost tier: Mid to lower.

8. Be Unique Group

Be Unique is one of Dubai's longer-running independent agencies with services across web, social, video, and branding. Their video work covers corporate films, event coverage, social content, and Arabic-language campaigns, which is a genuine differentiator if your audience includes Arabic-speaking customers. Bilingual briefs are worth asking about specifically if it's relevant to your market.

Best for: Businesses targeting Arabic-speaking audiences, bilingual campaigns, long-term agency relationships. Cost tier: Mid.

9. Specialist video studios (boutique production houses)

Dubai has a healthy number of smaller specialist studios and freelance-led production teams that don't have a digital marketing offering at all. These are pure production houses: they shoot, edit, grade, and deliver. Many of them produce excellent work. If you know exactly what you want, you have a clear brief, and you're not relying on the production company to think about distribution or performance, these studios are often the most cost-effective option for the craft itself.

The tradeoff is that you're on your own for strategy, media buying, and measuring results. The final cut lands in your inbox and what happens next is up to you.

Best for: Clients with an in-house marketing team, clear creative briefs, projects where you just need a production partner. Cost tier: Lower to mid.

10. International network agency production arms

Several global agencies have Dubai offices, and some of them have production capabilities alongside their strategy and media teams. These are usually best suited to multinational clients or regional campaigns where brand consistency across multiple markets is the priority. The production process tends to be formal, with multiple approval stages, and the cost is typically at the top of the market. For a local SME, this level of infrastructure is almost always overkill.

Best for: Multinationals, regional brand campaigns, clients with large production budgets. Cost tier: High.

How to choose

The most important question is not "who is the best video production company in Dubai." It's "best for what?"

Here's a simple way to think about it.

If you need video for paid ads, find a company that asks about your media strategy before the shoot. The number of people who will see your video depends almost entirely on how well it's distributed, not how good the camera is. A video built to be an ad needs a hook in the first three seconds, clear messaging by second eight, and a call to action that works without sound (because most people watch with sound off). If the company you're talking to doesn't mention any of this during the brief, they're thinking about production, not performance.

If you need a prestige corporate film, find a specialist studio or full-service agency with a strong portfolio in your sector. Look at specific work, not their reel. Watch three or four projects from your shortlist. Does the editing feel right? Is the colour grade consistent? Do the interviews feel natural or stiff?

If you need a high volume of social content, look for an agency or studio that has a repeatable production process. One-off shoots are expensive per piece of content. Some companies offer retainer packages where they visit monthly and produce a batch of content in a single day. That brings the per-video cost down significantly.

If you're on a limited budget, start smaller than you think you need to. A single well-made 30-second ad that actually converts will give you more useful data than a five-video campaign that looks beautiful but doesn't produce any enquiries. You can always invest more once you know what works.

The footage question

This comes up regularly and it matters. When the production day is done and the invoice is paid, do you own the raw footage?

Owning your raw files means you can use clips for different purposes in the future, run new edits without rebooking a full shoot, and hand the footage to another editor if your needs change. Not owning them means every new cut requires going back to the original company.

Most honest production companies include raw footage transfer as standard. Some don't, particularly if they're licensing rather than selling their work. Always ask before you book, not after.

One thing people underestimate

Video production is not the hard part. Distribution is.

A lot of businesses spend AED 20,000 on a beautiful corporate film and then post it on YouTube once and wonder why nothing happened. Video on its own does not generate leads. Video distributed to the right audience, on the right platform, with the right budget behind it, does.

Before you commission anything, have a plan for where the video will actually be seen. If the answer is "we'll post it on our social media," that's fine for brand presence, but it's not a marketing strategy. If you want video to generate actual business, factor in the cost of distributing it, not just producing it.

That's the part we focus on at Markamo. If you want to understand how we think about that, start here.

Final thought

Dubai has genuinely good video production talent. The market is competitive, which keeps quality high and prices more honest than they might be in a smaller city. The main thing to get clear on before you start calling studios is what you want the video to do. "Look professional" is not a brief. "Get me ten enquiries a month from this Facebook ad" is.

If that second kind of brief sounds like you, we should talk.
