I run Markamo. We handle branding and marketing for SMEs across Dubai. Every few months, a business owner asks me which agency they should use for branding. Sometimes they are considering us. Sometimes they want a second opinion. Sometimes they've already had a bad experience and want to know who else is out there.
So I wrote the comparison I'd actually want to read before spending AED 20,000 or more on a brand project. Real agencies, honest assessments, no padding.
I'm including Markamo at position four. I'll be straight about what we do well and who we're not the right fit for.
Before you get into the list, two things are worth knowing.
Branding in Dubai costs real money. A logo-only project from a good solo designer starts at a few thousand dirhams. A full identity project from an agency, covering brand strategy, logo, color system, typography, guidelines, and all deliverable files, typically runs AED 15,000 to AED 60,000. Some large or multi-market projects go well beyond that. If you've been quoted AED 1,500 for "full branding," what you are probably getting is a Canva logo and no guidelines. That's not branding. That's a file.
File ownership matters more than most people realise. Some agencies in Dubai do not hand over source files until you sign a retainer or agree to ongoing work. Others keep everything in their own software and you never actually own the originals. Always confirm in writing, before you sign, that all editable source files transfer to you on final payment.
With even so, here are ten agencies worth knowing about for 2026.
1. Global Media Insight (GMI)
GMI was founded in 2001 and is one of the oldest full-service digital and creative agencies still operating in Dubai under its original identity. Their services cover brand strategy, visual identity, web design, and digital marketing under one roof.
The age of the company is relevant here. They have seen enough clients and industries to have a genuine point of view on what works in the UAE market, not just what looks good in a pitch deck. Their brand work tends to be solid and grounded rather than flashy.
If you are a mid-to-large business that wants a single agency to handle both the brand and the digital execution, GMI is worth a conversation. They are not the cheapest option. Pricing is on request, and given their size and tenure, expect retainer-level engagement.
Best for: Established businesses that want integrated brand and digital under one roof.
Pricing: Pricing on request.
2. NEXA
NEXA is a well-known full-service agency in Dubai with a strong focus on inbound marketing and HubSpot, but they also run brand strategy and visual identity projects. Their brand work is typically tied into a wider digital strategy conversation, which can be useful if you're looking at a rebrand as part of a marketing overhaul rather than a standalone design project.
They are a larger agency with multiple departments. You get process and structure. The tradeoff is that a smaller project may not get the same attention as a larger retainer account.
Their strength is connecting brand to marketing strategy. If you want someone to help you figure out your positioning, your messaging, and your identity at the same time, rather than just handing you a logo, NEXA has the capability for that.
Best for: Businesses that want brand strategy connected to an inbound or content marketing plan.
Pricing: Pricing on request.
3. Traffic Digital
Traffic Digital is a creative-led agency with offices in Dubai and London. Their portfolio skews toward larger brands and regional clients, and their design work has a notably higher visual ambition than many Dubai agencies. They do brand identity, campaign creative, and integrated production.
If you have a real budget and you want a brand that feels genuinely considered rather than produced from a template, Traffic Digital is one of the better options in the market.
They are not set up for small projects or businesses that need a quick turnaround. Their process is thorough and their team is structured for engagements with significant scope. For SMEs on tight budgets, this is probably not the right fit.
Best for: Regional brands and mid-to-large businesses that need premium creative output.
Pricing: Pricing on request. Expect significant project minimums.
4. Markamo
This is where we sit on the list. I'll be direct.
Markamo builds brands that are designed to work in the places where you actually use them: your ads, your website, your social media, and your printed materials. Not a brand that looks good in a PDF and falls apart the moment a designer tries to resize the logo for a Google Display ad or a WhatsApp profile photo.
When we take on a branding project, we do four things.
First, we make sure the identity system is complete and practical: logo variants for different contexts, a color palette with exact codes for screen and print, approved typefaces, and a brand guidelines document your team can actually follow.
Second, we think about how the brand performs in digital ads. A lot of brand work in Dubai gets handed to a client, looks beautiful in the brand book, and then the client runs their first Facebook ad and the whole thing looks off because the logo disappears at small sizes or the palette reads wrong against a white background. We test this before delivery.
Third, all files transfer to you completely. You own the Figma source, the AI files, the full exports. You can take them to any designer, any printer, or any agency in the future without needing to come back to us.
Fourth, our pricing is flat and transparent, published on our pricing page. Branding projects start at AED 2,500 as a one-time project fee, with no lock-in beyond the project term.
Where we are not the right fit: if you need a large brand strategy engagement with market research, competitive positioning workshops, and stakeholder presentations across a multinational team, there are better-resourced options on this list. We work best with SMEs who need a usable, well-built brand tied to marketing, not a brand that sits in a drawer.
You can see our services page or read our guide to what a branding agency in Dubai actually does and costs if you want more context before reaching out.
Best for: SMEs in Dubai who want a brand built for ads and digital use, with full file ownership and flat pricing.
Pricing: From AED 2,500 per project. Full pricing at markamo.com/en/pricing.
5. Prism Digital
Prism Digital has been operating in Dubai since 2006. They offer digital marketing, web design, and brand identity services. Their tenure means they have worked across a wide range of UAE industries including real estate, hospitality, healthcare, and retail.
Their brand work tends to be clean and functional rather than conceptually ambitious, which is not a criticism. For a business that needs a reliable identity produced on time and without drama, Prism is a credible choice.
They are a mid-sized agency with a reasonable track record. If you're in a straightforward service industry and want a branding team with local market experience, they're worth speaking to.
Best for: SMEs in established UAE industries that want reliable, experienced delivery.
Pricing: Pricing on request.
6. Digital Gravity
Digital Gravity is primarily known for web design and development in Dubai, but their scope includes brand identity work, particularly for businesses that are building or rebuilding a brand as part of a new website project.
This is a relevant distinction. If you are getting a new website built and want the brand and the website to come from the same team, Digital Gravity is set up for that. The visual identity work they produce is built with digital execution in mind from the start, which avoids the common problem of handing a brand to a web developer who then has to interpret the guidelines themselves.
They are not the right choice if you want brand strategy and deep positioning work independent of a digital project. Their strength is in the design-to-build pipeline.
Best for: Businesses doing a new website and a brand or rebrand at the same time.
Pricing: Pricing on request.

7. Grow.ae
Grow.ae takes a distinct approach to branding through a neuromarketing lens. They apply behavioral science and consumer psychology principles to brand strategy, which means their work is more rooted in how people actually respond to visual cues and messaging than in what looks good on a moodboard.
If you are in a category where consumer trust and emotional response matter a great deal, such as healthcare, wellness, or premium services, this angle is worth paying attention to.
They are a smaller team, which means you get more direct access to decision-makers. They are not the right fit if you need scale or large team capacity. But for a considered, psychology-informed brand project, they are one of the more interesting options in Dubai.
Best for: Healthcare, wellness, and premium consumer brands that want psychology-driven brand strategy.
Pricing: Pricing on request.
8. Element8
Element8 is a Dubai-based creative agency with a portfolio that spans brand identity, corporate communications, packaging, and digital design. They have been operating for over a decade and have worked with a broad range of local and regional clients.
Their work covers the full output of a branding engagement: naming, strategy, visual identity, brand guidelines, and application across print and digital. They tend to work well with medium-sized businesses that have a clear brief and a defined budget.
Element8 is a reliable mid-market option. They are not trying to be the most premium agency in Dubai, and their pricing reflects that, though figures are still on request.
Best for: Mid-sized businesses that need a complete branding package with broad application across print and digital.
Pricing: Pricing on request.
9. Be Unique Group
Be Unique Group is a full-service digital and creative agency in Dubai that covers branding, social media management, web design, and digital advertising. Their branding work is positioned at the SME end of the market, which makes their pricing more accessible than the larger agencies on this list.
The tradeoff is that their process tends to be faster and more templated than the deep-strategy engagements you get from agencies like NEXA or Traffic Digital. For a business that needs a clean, functional brand produced efficiently within a modest budget, that is a reasonable exchange.
They are a reasonable starting point for a first brand or a light refresh if budget is a significant constraint.
Best for: SMEs with modest budgets who need a serviceable brand delivered efficiently.
Pricing: Pricing on request. Likely lower than most agencies on this list given their positioning.
10. redBerries
redBerries is a Dubai-based digital marketing agency that also handles brand identity work. They are positioned squarely at the SME market and are known for being accessible and responsive, which is not a given in an agency market where smaller clients can feel deprioritised.
Their brand work is functional and tailored for digital use. They are not going to produce the most conceptually ambitious brand on the market, but for a small business that needs a solid logo, color system, and basic guidelines without a six-figure budget, they are a practical option.
Best for: Small businesses and startups that need practical, affordable branding without large agency pricing.
Pricing: Pricing on request.
How to compare branding agencies in Dubai
Here is a quick comparison of the agencies above by scope, typical deliverables, and cost tier. "Full identity" means logo, color, typography, and brand guidelines. "Strategy" means positioning and messaging work before design begins. "Digital-ready" means the output is tested and formatted for ad and web use.
| Agency | Scope | Full identity | Strategy | Digital-ready | Cost tier |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| GMI | Brand + digital | Yes | Yes | Yes | Mid-high |
| NEXA | Brand + inbound | Yes | Yes | Partial | Mid-high |
| Traffic Digital | Premium creative | Yes | Yes | Yes | High |
| Markamo | Brand + marketing | Yes | Partial | Yes | Mid |
| Prism Digital | Brand + digital | Yes | Partial | Partial | Mid |
| Digital Gravity | Brand + web | Yes | Partial | Yes | Mid |
| Grow.ae | Neuromarketing-led | Yes | Yes | Partial | Mid |
| Element8 | Brand + print/digital | Yes | Partial | Partial | Mid |
| Be Unique Group | Brand + social | Partial | Partial | Partial | Low-mid |
| redBerries | Brand + digital | Partial | Partial | Partial | Low-mid |
Cost tier here is relative. "Low-mid" still means several thousand dirhams for a serious project. "High" can mean AED 60,000 or more for a full identity engagement. No agency on this list is going to produce a complete, usable brand for AED 500.
What to ask before you sign
Whatever agency you choose, ask these questions before the contract goes in front of you.
Who will actually work on the project? At larger agencies, the senior person you meet in the pitch often hands your account to a junior. Ask by name who your day-to-day contact will be and what their experience level is.
Do I own all files on final payment? The answer should be yes, unconditionally. If there is any qualification, treat it as a red flag.
What does the brand look like in a square ad? A surprising number of logos look perfect on a business card and terrible as a 1080x1080 social post. Ask the agency to show you how the identity works across actual digital formats before you sign off.
What is included in brand guidelines? A one-page PDF showing your logo and colors is not brand guidelines. A real brand guidelines document covers logo versions and exclusion zones, color codes for screen and print, typography usage rules, tone of voice, and correct and incorrect usage examples.
What happens if I want to change something after delivery? Clarify how many revision rounds are included, what counts as a revision versus a new scope request, and what additional rounds cost.
